Nordic Textile Meeting - we call it meeting, just because we think it is important to meet. So, this time we lived together at a hostel in Silkeborg, located in central Jutland's Søhøjland, with the Gudenå river close. We wanted to spin a common thread between historical and contemporary textiles, to explore paper and textile fibres and to meet textile artists in the central Jutland area. On the program was Museum Jorn in Silkeborg, where weaver Inge Bjørn, a few days before her 100th birthday, came and talked about the tapestry The Long Journey. It was an enchanting experience to hear so vividly about the work of weaving.
