I am a Slovenian living in Copenhagen and a member of K.K.S. – Kvindelige Kunstneres Samfund. My work moves between drawing and embroidery, using ink, thread, and textile to create layered abstract surfaces.
Through slow, repetitive gestures, lines and stitches accumulate over time, forming structures that shift between intuition and pattern. Inspired by subtle rhythms in nature and everyday environments, I translate observation into tactile compositions in which each mark registers time and attention.
I am drawn to embroidery for the way it reveals the process: while the front presents the intention, the reverse holds traces of making—movements, choices, uncertainties and corrections, leaving a map of the work’s unfolding.
